We just hope you won’t miss being served their fantastic French toast creation. The scones were the speciality! And such variety! Tremendous! The fruit bowl and the egg soufflés were very tasty. Served in a wonderful tea room setting with fine china and silver we couldn’t have found a better breakfast anywhere, and we just had to walk across the hall. They thought of everything, including setting the room clock forward to reflection the daylight savings time change. The family visit was very stressful (health concerns) and our time at Smith-Byrd was like an oasis we retreated to each evening. David and Beth did everything they could to make our stay excellent. Smith-Byrd, with hosts David and Beth, was just what we looked for! The friendliness, welcoming spirit, and hospitality were top of the line. We’ve stayed in many hotels but we wanted something different and less ‘corporate’. We were in Prattville to help a family member.
